Most platforms ask you to pay before you understand what you are paying for. anchors does not work that way.
The sample campaign lets you walk through the entire campaign flow, setting goals, filtering creators, selecting influencers, writing a brief, reviewing drafts, giving feedback, approving content, checking out at zero, and seeing a simulated performance dashboard. Every step works exactly as it does in a real campaign.
The sample campaign is available to all accounts, including free plan users. No credit card is required, and no money moves at any point.

How to start a sample campaign

From your dashboard, click Create Sample Campaign. Create Sample Campaign button on anchors dashboard You will enter the same campaign creation flow as a real campaign. Every step works the same way.
A Sample Campaign banner appears at the top of every screen throughout the flow. This stays visible the entire time so you always know you are in the sample and not a live campaign.

The full sample flow at a glance

Step 1: Campaign Info

Set your campaign goal, business type, budget range, and dates exactly as you would for a real campaign. Campaign Info step in sample campaign mode Try different goals and see how the description changes. Set a budget range that is close to what you would actually spend. This makes the rest of the sample feel relevant to your real situation rather than a generic demo.
Use your actual company details and real campaign goals here. The more realistic you make the sample, the better sense you get of how anchors would work for your specific use case.

Step 2: Influencer Criteria

Set your creator and audience filters. The same fields available in a real campaign are all here. Influencer Criteria step in sample campaign mode Try setting your actual target audience, the job roles, seniority levels, and locations you would want to reach in a real LinkedIn campaign. The Campaign Outline panel on the right updates in real time to show estimated reach and influencer count based on your inputs. This is a good step to spend time on, even in the sample. Understanding how filters change the creator pool and estimated reach helps you set better criteria when you run a real campaign.

Step 3: Review Campaign Outline

Before moving to creator selection, anchors shows you the campaign estimate based on your filters. Campaign Outline review in sample campaign mode Review the estimated reach, number of influencers, and expected expense. Click Confirm to move to creator selection.

Step 4: Select Influencers

The creator selection step in the sample campaign works very closely to a real one. You will see a full list of relevant influencers matched to your campaign criteria, real profiles, real follower counts, and real content categories. Influencer selection in sample campaign on anchors
You can browse all matched creator cards in the sample, scroll through the list, read the surface-level details, and get a real sense of the kind of creators anchors surfaces for your criteria. However, View Detailed Insights is only unlocked for two creators: Mira and Kartik. All other creator cards are visible but their deep profile analysis is reserved for live campaigns.
This is intentional. The full creator pool is available when you run a real campaign. The sample gives you enough to understand how selection works and what the data looks like — without exposing the entire database behind a free flow.

Meet Mira and Kartik

These two profiles are fully unlocked in the sample. Use them to understand what a complete creator evaluation looks like before you do it with real budget on the line. Mira and Kartik creator cards in sample campaign on anchors

Step 5: Product Details and Brief

Add your product details and write a campaign brief exactly as you would in a real campaign. Product details and brief step in sample campaign mode Fill in:
  • Product or service name
  • Product description and value proposition
  • Reference link
  • Content creation mode — brand-provided or influencer-written
  • Campaign brief
  • Campaign guidelines
Once you save the product details and add a brief, the platform automatically generates a personalised draft brief for Mira and Kartik based on what you entered.
The AI brief generation in the sample campaign works exactly the same way as in a real campaign. The brief anchors creates for each creator is personalised based on your product details and the creator’s profile. This is a good opportunity to see how the AI interprets your inputs and whether the output matches your expectations.

Step 6: Review Details

The full campaign summary page shows everything you have entered across all steps. Review Details step in sample campaign mode Go through each section: campaign info, audience criteria, influencer criteria, product details, and campaign requirement. This is the same page you would see before activating a real campaign. When you are satisfied, click Continue.
In a real campaign, clicking Continue takes you to checkout, where you pay the campaign amount. In the sample campaign, the checkout page appears exactly as normal, but every amount shows as ₹0. Collaboration charges, GST, total payable, all zero.Click Pay to complete the sample checkout and activate the campaign. No payment is processed and no money moves.
Sample campaign checkout showing zero amount on anchors This is by design. Seeing the real checkout layout, with all the line items, credit fields, and payment options, at zero cost means you know exactly what the payment step looks like before you do it for real.

The post-activation sample experience

After the review step, your sample campaign is marked as active. You will see the same Campaign Activated confirmation screen as a real campaign, with the Sample Campaign banner visible at the top. Sample campaign activated confirmation screen on anchors From here, the sample campaign walks you through the full post-activation flow.

Reviewing sample drafts

Mira and Kartik automatically submit pre-written drafts for your review. These drafts are generated based on the brief you wrote and the product details you entered. Sample draft review panel on anchors The draft review panel works exactly as it does in a real campaign:
  • Read the post preview as it would appear on LinkedIn
  • Toggle between mobile and desktop preview
  • Open the original brief to compare against the submitted draft
  • Check how many suggestion rounds remain

Giving feedback on sample drafts

Click Suggest Changes to open the feedback panel. Suggest Changes panel in sample campaign mode Write your feedback in the Give Suggestions field. Be as specific as you would in a real review. Submit the feedback, and the draft will be updated to reflect your requested changes.
This is the best part of the sample campaign for teams who have never reviewed influencer content before. You get to practice giving clear, actionable feedback in a low-stakes environment before you do it on a paid campaign with real timelines.

Approving a sample draft

When the draft looks right, click Approve Post. The confirmation pop-up works the same way as a real approval; it asks you to confirm because approval is permanent. Approve Post in sample campaign mode Once approved, the creator moves to the live date assignment stage.

Setting sample live dates

After approving drafts, assign go-live dates for Mira and Kartik using the same calendar picker as a real campaign. Set live dates in sample campaign mode No posts actually go live on LinkedIn. But you get to practice the scheduling step and understand how staggering dates works before you do it in a real campaign.

Sample performance view

Once live dates are set, the sample campaign shows you a simulated performance dashboard with dummy data for Mira and Kartik. Sample performance dashboard on anchors This gives you a feel for what the live tracking dashboard looks like — impressions, engagement, budget utilisation, and creator-level metrics — without waiting for a real campaign to run.

Why anchors built this..

Running an influencer campaign for the first time on a new platform is a real risk. You are putting budget into something you have never used, hoping the workflow makes sense and the data is what you expected. The sample campaign exists to remove that risk completely.

No surprises on your first real campaign

By the time you activate a paid campaign, you have already been through every step. Nothing is unfamiliar.

No sales call needed

The sample is self-serve. Explore it at your own pace without needing a demo or a walkthrough from the anchors team.

If your team or leadership needs to understand how anchors work before approving the budget, walk them through the sample together.

Honest about what you are buying

AI Analysis Report

Comment intelligence and audience analysis require actual post data to generate. Not available in sample mode.
